Representation
We act for you. All work, from the first consultation, is charged at the hourly rate.

Establishing the shape of the matter, whether we can act, and whether there is a conflict.
Initial advice
A written view on where you stand, your options, and what each one is likely to cost and achieve.
Negotiation and correspondence
Dealing with the other side directly, aimed at settling before proceedings escalate.
Court or Tribunal appearance
Preparation and attendance, with an estimate for each step before it is taken.
Mediation
We remain neutral.
Initial conversation
A short call with each party to check that mediation suits the matter.
No charge

Full-day mediation
Sydney or online, from 10am. Includes pre-mediation intake with each party and drafting the agreement on the day.

How charging works
A costs agreement is provided in writing before any chargeable work begins. It sets out the basis of charging, an estimate of total costs, and your rights if you dispute a bill. No work is done and no fee is incurred without your agreement to it first.
Representation is charged at $440 an hour, so the cost of each step can be estimated before it is taken. Flexible fee arrangements, including contingency options, are available where a matter suits them.
Fees are inclusive of GST and a tax invoice is provided. The mediation fee can be split evenly between the parties or paid in whatever way they agree. Mediations start at 10am, in Sydney or online.
